Davis Bike Club

Davis Bike Club traces its origins back to the early 1970s. DBC operated for several years as an informal organization until May, 1979 when the Club  incorporated as a non-profit 501(c)[4] organization.

The Club’s iconic, Double Century, preceded the Davis Bike Club, having been created by the Cal Aggie Wheelmen in 1969. When the Cal Aggie Wheelmen later disbanded, DBC continued running the Double Century until the present time.

The original Club Directors were Ronald Johnson, Richard Waters, Helen Pool, Eileen Garvey, and Barbara Waters. From that time until today, the Davis Bike Club is the only organized bike club in Yolo County and has a membership exceeding 500 cyclists and families.
